₹175 Golden Tata Share; Highest Ever Delivery Volume Figures; Share Ready To Jump?

Tata Steel (NSE: TATASTEEL) released the production and delivery volume figures for the first quarter. 

These figures are for Tata Steel India, Tata Steel Netherlands, Tata Steel UK, and Tata Steel Thailand. 

Tata Steel India’s crude production volume increased by 5 percent compared to last year. 

However, due to the maintenance shutdown, the volume has decreased compared to the March quarter. 

At the same time, the delivery volume figures have been the highest ever for the first quarter. 

Due to increased domestic delivery, Tata Steel India’s delivery has been 3 percent higher than last year. 

In Friday’s trading, Tata Steel’s stock closed at 174.75 with a decline of one percent.

How Was The Performance

Tata Steel India’s production volume in the first quarter was 52.5 lakh tonnes, 50.2 lakh tonnes a year ago, and 54 lakh tonnes in the March quarter. 

At the same time, Tata Steel Netherlands’ volume in the first quarter was 17.2 lakh tonnes, 9.4 lakh tonnes a year ago, and 14.8 lakh tonnes in the March quarter. 

The production of Tata Steel UK was 6.9 lakh tonnes and that of Tata Steel Thailand was 3.1 lakh tonnes.

At the same time, the delivery volume of Tata Steel was 49.4 lakh tonnes, which was 47.9 lakh tonnes a year ago. Delivery in the March quarter was 54.2 lakh tonnes.

According to the information given by the company, the delivery to the auto and special product segment has increased by 14 percent compared to last year. 

The delivery of branded products and the retail segment has increased by 6 percent compared to last year.

How Was The Performance Of The Stock

In Friday’s trading, Tata Steel stock closed at 174.75 with a decline of 0.85 percent. It has offered investors a profit of 55 percent over a year. 

At the same time, the stock has increased by 25 percent so far in the year 2024. The stock has given a return of 7 percent in 3 months.
