Company Announced ₹50 Per Share Final Dividend For Last Year; 3rd May Date

Pharmaceutical sector company Sanofi India (NSE: SANOFI) released its quarterly results after the market had closed on the last day.

Along with the results, the company has announced the final dividend for the last year and interim dividend for the December quarter. 

The company keeps its financial year from January to December. On this basis, the December quarter was the fourth quarter of the company and with this, the company has announced the full-year results and final dividend for 2023.

Based on the data provided by the company Sanofi’s profits have grown by over 5 percent over the last year. 

The stock saw a drop of about 1 percent in the stock on the trading session on Friday. The results came just after the market shut.

How Have Been The Quarterly Results?

Based on the information that the company has provided the profits of the pharma firm during the fourth quarter have increased from the 131 crore figure to 138  crore, as compared with the previous year.

The company’s December quarter income has increased from Rs 672 crore to Rs 694 crore. 

In the fourth quarter, EBITDA increased from Rs 166.9 crore to Rs 187.4 crore. Compared to last year, EBITDA margin has increased from 24.8 percent to 27 percent.

How Much Dividend Has Been Distributed?

It has been advised that its board has approved an interim dividend in the amount of 50 Rs each share, for the fiscal year that ends on 31 December 2023. 

This company fixed the record date for this date as March 7, 2024. This dividend is due on or after the 20th of March.

The company has also announced a final dividend of Rs 117 per share for the year ending December 2023. 

The ex-date for payment of the dividend has been kept as 3rd May. The Dividend will be paid on or after the 24th of May.

Sanofi India Limited is a healthcare business. It provides a variety of supplements and medicines for the treatment of diabetics (both oral and insulin) and epilepsy, thrombosis, cardiology, allergies & infections.

Two manufacturing plants are located in Hyderabad and one is located in Goa. The geographic segments it has are India, Singapore, and Others. 

It markets its goods through distributors independent of, primarily in India. It also produces its products through third-party manufacturers. 

The different dosage forms include capsules, tablets (hard as well as soft) eye/ear drops ampoules creams, vials, and ointments.

Its products for the consumer market comprise Allegra, Allegra nasal, and Avil.
