Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: The third term of PM Narendra Modi has started. The first meeting took place on Monday, and decision-making on the requirements of both the common and farmers were made.

In which it was announced to give 3 crore additional houses in PM Awas Yojana (PMAY). After this decision, the shares of the real estate and construction sector are seeing a rise.

Shares In Green Mark

This is the third consecutive session when real estate and construction shares have seen a rise.

In the last trading session, the shares of Godrej Properties, Mahindra Lifespace, LIC Housing, UltraTech Cement, Ambuja Cement, Shri Cement, and NCC are in the green mark.

Shares Of These Companies Increased

In the last five trading sessions, the share of UltraTech Cement is about 10 percent.

The share of Ambuja and Shri Cement has increased by 6 percent, the share of Godrej Properties by 5 percent, the share of Mahindra Lifespace by 9 percent, the share of LIC Housing by 11 percent and the share of NCC has increased by about 10 percent.

PM Awas Yojana Was Started In 2015

PM Awas Yojana has been run by the government since 2015-16. In this, eligible people are assisted by the government to build houses. Since the start of this scheme, the government has given help to build more than 4.21 crore houses.

Who Benefits From The PM Awas Yojana?

The benefits that come from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana program are only available to a few groups. It also includes those in the Low Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), and EWS and EWS, who receive its advantages.

EWS is for those who have a yearly income at or above 3 lakh rupees. The annual earnings of an applicant from the group of low-income should be between 3 and 6 lakh rupees.
