Coal India(NSE: COALINDIA), the largest coal producer with Indian government investment, will be eyeing its third quarter results and interim dividend recommendation.

Maharatna Company is expected to register double digit growth in all sectors on a year-to-year basis.

The company has already set a record date to decide eligible shareholders for its upcoming dividend. Coal India has the highest dividend yield in PSU shares.

The market capitalization for Coal India is Rs 2,78,278 crore. Coal India’s share has a 52-week low of Rs 207.60. Whereas its 52-week high level is 468.60. It has become a multibagger PSU stock for many investors.

Coal India has the highest dividend yield among PSU stocks and is also among the large-caps stock in the Indian market.

The meeting of the board of directors of Coal India was hold on 12 February. 

On this day the Board will consider and announce the payment for other hotels, if any, for the financial year 2023-24.

According to the exchange filing, CIL has set Tuesday, February 20, 2024, as the ‘record date’ for payment of interim dividend on equity share for the financial year 2023-24.

This is also the ex-dividend date. Earlier, the company had paid 152.5% of its first interim stock for FY24 at Rs 15.25 per share. 

Meanwhile, in the last financial year 2022-23, Coal India paid 242.50% of the votes accounting for Rs 24.25 per share.
