Adani Power Ltd (NSE: ADANIPOWER): The shares are soaring. Shares of the company reached at Rs 626.50 on Friday. 

Adani Power’s shares 52-week high was Rs. 646.90. The previous high was Rs 589.30, which was reached on December 6, 2023. 

The market has experienced a constant upward cycle for the last three trading days. Even on its fourth trading day, this stock is still rising. This stock is up almost 20 percent in just four days.

Shares Are Rising Because Of Several Reasons

Adani Power achieved a strong financial performance in the third quarter (Q3FY24), largely due to high sales volume and low import fuel prices. 

Adani Power intends to add approximately 6 gigawatts of new power assets over the next five-year period. 

It aims to meet India’s increasing electricity demand. Adani Power has now become the largest independent producer of power in India with an operational capacity of 15.2GW. 

This 81 percent is tied to long/mid-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

The brokerage stated that the pattern suggested an immediate target price of Rs 626 and it could move up to Rs700. 

Its 52-week high price is 647 Rs and its 52-week low price is 185.10. Market capitalization for the company is now Rs 2,34347.61 crore.

About Adani Power Ltd

The company is a power generator in India with an energy generation capacity of 12450 megawatts (MW) consisting of 12.410 MW thermal power stations and the 40MW solar energy project.

It is focused on coal trading and power generation. 

The Company has constructed and manages through its subsidiaries more than 9.240 MW worth of power plant capacity including a 4,620 MW power plant of APMuL located in Mundra in Gujarat,

and the 3,300 MW plant of APML located at Tiroda located in Maharashtra and one of 1,320MW from APRL in Kawai situated in Rajasthan. 

The Company also owns three thermal power stations with an aggregate capacity of around 3,170 MW. 

This includes one 1,200 MW plant from UPCL in Udupi in Karnataka as well as the 1,370 MW plant of REL in Raipur within Chhattisgarh and the 600 MW power plant at REGL located in Raigarh located in Chhattisgarh. 

The subsidiaries of the Company comprise Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited, Pench Thermal Energy (MP) Limited,  Mahan Energen Limited, Adani Power Dahej Limited and Kutchh Power Generation Limited.
